Video Intercom Upgrade
Following contact for the property manager, our team designed and installed a replacement video intercom system.
The existing system:
Previously installed by an electrician, the existing system was a basic video intercom with internal panels in two rooms. However, the system didn't work as expected causing issues for the office staff when letting clients in for meetings.
The new system:
Following a site survey and a discuss with the property owner and a few members of the office staff, our design team was able to find a solution that would work perfectly in the office environment. The new system is IP-based and provides remote access for the office manager.
The System Design and Installation Process
In order to meet the needs to the office, we recommended a few options. Once agreed, we customised the system to suit and ordered the products.
The new system would upgrade the video intercom from a two-wire system to IP.
Once installed, our engineer walked the client and office staff through the system to ensure they were able to use it correctly. Also helping the office manager to setup the Hik-Connect App for remote access and the Desktop Software to manage new users.
