Repairing broken cables inside a CCTV camera to restore a blind-spot
A customer at Denbury Farm in Taunton contacted us as one of their CCTV cameras had gone offline and left a blind-spot in their property. Upon arrival our specialist CCTV engineers examined the camera itself and, after running diagnostics, found that there was a break in one of the cables. This caused a loss of signal from the IP CCTV camera, preventing the feed from being transmitted to their monitoring area.
The Challenge:
Repairing a wireless IP CCTV camera to ensure the signal is restored, resolving the blind-spot issue.
The Solution
Rotor Pixel Technologies completely rewired the CCTV camera, ensuring that the broken cable was replaced and future-proofing the device against further issues that may have been caused by the old wiring.
Our team tested the cabling and found a break which prevented the camera from transmitting any video

The CCTV camera was tested following the rewiring process to ensure that it was sending the video feed correctly
Our CCTV repair team remounted the CCTV camera and final checks were made to ensure no further issues were present
